In accordance with TodayThe record label added two new categories this year: Best Album Cover and Best Country Album. Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. It shared that the updates are part of an effort to reflect the ever-changing music scene.
“Each year during our awards and nomination review, our focus is on refining our rules,” Mason told Grammy.com. “And make sure we celebrate our creative community in a very meaningful way.”

As for predictions, bossips have a few names we expect to see on all boards when the list goes live.
On the album of the year, all eyes are on the bad bunny’s Debí Tirar More photos. The cultural album has become a global sensation where Bad Bunny has combined his puerto rican heritage with live metal and an undeniable beat. Don’t count out Kendrick Lamar, though, the latest Project, GNXthey throw light barriers and cultural discussions.
In a record year, Bossip bets big on the “concern” of DoChii and the “type” of Doja, both of which defined the sound charts and the year. The best new singer could go to Victoria Monét’s Protégé voon Thoon Thowas, or Afriboat Sension Ayra Starr, who has been burning up international playlists.
For the new best album category, we expect visual powerhouses like Tyler, the Creator to lead the pack. Artists consistently combine fashion, concept, and visual storytelling to achieve great success. Naturally, we have to let the Grammy voting board decide who actually brings home the Grammy.
