The disclosure, which has not been reported before, suggests that the survivors are from Thursday’s military strike launched by President Donald Trump against Venezuela.

The Pentagon did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

One of the sources said that the ship that was hit on Thursday went underwater and it may have been something less than a year old, which is an underground ship used by drug dealers to avoid detection of drugs to avoid detection of drugs to avoid detection of drugs to avoid detection.

Five sources familiar with the matter said that the US military has planned a rescue helicopter to pick up survivors of the attack and return them to the US military.

Before Thursday’s operation, US military strikes against suspected drug boats in Venezuela did not leave any survivors and videos released by the Trump administration showed the vessels being displayed.

The Trump administration said earlier strikes killed 27 people, raising alarm among some law enforcement experts and democrats, who question whether they are following the rules of war.

The strikes come against the backdrop of a US military build-up in the Caribbean that includes destroyers, F-35 jets, a nuclear submarine and about 6,570 troops as Trump steps up the Venezuelan government.

On Wednesday, Trump revealed that he had authorized the Central Intelligence Agency to conduct covert operations inside Venezuela, adding speculation that the United States in Caracas was trying to impersonate Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

Earlier this month, the Pentagon disclosed to Congress in a memo reviewed by Reuters that Trump had determined that the United States was participating in a “negative conflict.”

Less than a week ago, the Pentagon announced its counter-narcotic operations in the region would be led by the Miami-based Southern Commal, which deals with US military operations in Latin America.

Instead, the Pentagon said a Task Force was created to be led by the II Marine Expeditionary Force, a unit with overseas operations capabilities based at Camp Lejel in North Carolina.

That decision came as a surprise to US military watchers, because the Southern Command usually led any higher operations.

On Thursday, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said the attorney general leading Southern Command will step down at the end of this year, two years ahead of schedule, in a surprise move.
