Aileen He was finally caught in January 1991 after an extensive provincial investigation, convicted of multiple murders and sentenced to death in 1992.
Later he did not compete in the other five murders. He was on death row for six years before he was executed by lethal injection in 2002.
According to Britannica, he refused the last meal and instead just had a cup of coffee.
His final words are reported to be: “I just want to say that I’m walking on a rock, and I’ll be back like independence day, Jesus, June 6. Like a movie, big mothership and everything, I’ll be back.”

Aileen he was abandoned at the age of 4 by his mother, and never met his father. She was raised by her grandparents and endured physical and sexual abuse at home. It is said that she was raped at 14 and became pregnant, and had to give up the child in order to be accepted. Eventually, her grandfather made her leave the house and she was forced to survive in sex work and crime while making her way to Florida.
