Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn. Minority Leader of the Senate Chuck Schumer, Dn.Y., on Thursday for not naming Zindeli of Democrats New York City Mamdan.
Since he became the nominee, the democratic party has found itself debating how to handle Mamdani’s rise due to his authoritarian policies and long-term views.
“Now, Hakeem Jeffries, your leader, you have some reluctance but you agreed to Zohran Mamdani, Chuck Schumer still Chuck Schumer didn’t agree to Zohran Mamdani?” CNN WIT kasie HUNT asked Omar.
“I really don’t know. It doesn’t make sense,” said Omar. “I, as Democrats, always believe that in the election, we support our nominated party. Schumer pressured other Democrats to do that, and they should follow his advice.”

When asked if religion definitely played a role, Omar replied, “Yes, the tsunami of anti-Muslim attacks that we are seeing in depth. And I will support Mordium City and the millions who live in New York and America.”
When asked how some people find it possible that Mamdani’s antisemitic people have been too slow to reject the phrase “Gojizesa insimo Intifada,” Omar argued that this accusation has been overused to the point of absurdity.
“Well, everything he does or says seems to be called antisemitic,” Omar said as he got off. “What he doesn’t know is that he sponsored a wide range of merchants in New Yorkers. He has a great unity of Muslims there. And because he is an ally of the youth who will support him. The Yorkers. And he provides a solution for them. They see hope in the kind of development that he can create for the youth.”

“The one Democrat who campaigned for him and gave him an award is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Would you like to see his primary Chuck Schamer?” Hunting was asked.
“I’d like Alex to do whatever Alex wants, and I’ll be there to support him,” Omar replied.
