Laila Ali announces that she will not come out of retirement homes and Claressa called her “scary, old and bitter”
On Thursday, October 30, Ali issued a minute of throwing twenty-six receipts, with written evidence “to show that the claim of Ali” was false and taken out of context. “
About seventeen minutes into the video, Ali shared that the shields made him “Mad enough” to jump out of retirement and join him.
“No way. After years of disrespectful lies and bad disrespect, making negative comments about me, trying to legally discredit his dead name, trying to get a reward for his ring … whatever,” Ali said.
Shields immediately caught wind of Ali’s video and took to X, previously the same Twitter, on Thursday, calling Ali “horrible, old and ugly.”
On Friday, October 31, the shields returned to the platform, writing, “Y’ALL been fooled by anything’I won’t reward him with this ‘How do you reward me for benefiting me by firing me… Dismissal is not a reward. All bark no bite ‘we all know he can’t pierce grapes’ but you don’t want to be spanked by me anyway”
