Ukrainian Drones Are Reaching Inside Russia as the Battle of Key City Rores On

Ukraine’s long-range drones attacked an industrial plant about 1,300 kilometers (800 miles) inside Russia, local officials said Tuesday, while Ukrainian forces remain locked in a major battle to capture the Russian city of Pokrovsk in Eastern Ponetsk region.

Two drones were targeted at an industrial complex in Sterlitamak, a city in the Russian region of Russia, the district of Gov. Radiy Habirov said in an online statement. He did not specify which area was targeted but said that both drones were shot down. There were no injuries, and the facility was operating normally, he said.

Meanwhile, City officials reported an explosion at the Sterlitamak Petrochemical plant caused the plant’s water treatment plant to partially collapse, adding that the cause of the explosion was unknown. The plant, which makes rubber and aviation fuel, is not known to have been attacked before.

Ukraine has a deep strike in Russia using domestic drones produced by moscow, and the officials become dangerous for any damage, and the Russians were not present. Ukraine has targeted production plants, oil relioneries and military logistics in a bid to thwart Russia’s war effort nearly four years after the four-year invasion.

Explosions were also heard in the industrial area of ​​Nizhny Novgorod Region, 800 kilometers (500 miles) from Ukraine, where an oil refinery and a Russian plant were reported, Russian media reported. Authorities did not confirm the reports.

Both Bashkortostan and Nizhny Novgorod are among the regions where the Russian defense ministry said on Tuesday that Ukrainian drones had been shot down, saying 85 were detected overnight.

Ukrainian authorities say that Russia is attacking the Southeastern region of Dnipropetrovsk in the Ukrainian region with drones, drones, missiles at night, killing one person and wounding 11 others, including two children.

Russia fired seven missiles of various types and 130 strike and decoy drones into Ukraine overnight, Ukrainian air force said.

On the battlefield, Russia and Ukraine will compete for control of Pokrovsk, a Ukrainian stronghold in the Donetsk region that Moscow’s forces have been seeking to capture for more than a year.

Russia has in recent months stepped up its efforts in this area and says its forces are improving.

“Russian forces continue to advance in the direction of Pokrovsk and appear to be operating with increasing comfort within Pokrovsk itself,” the Center for Military Studies, Washington Calk Tank, said late Monday.
