Neo-Soul Singer D’angelo He was laid to rest like Stevie Wonder, Lauryn Hill, and many other voices at a recent memorial service.

According to TMZ, Angelo was attacked at the Nanta Paul Baptist Church in Henrico, Virginia, on Saturday, Saturday, by bands of singers, who performed in music during the service. More on d’angelo’s recent passing

As the Shadow Room previously reported, Angelo died in October at the age of 51. He is said to be battling pancreatic cancer. In addition, his death occurred months after that of fellow singer Angie Stone, who was also the mother of his biological son.
