Well, the University of Missouri Student apparently didn’t take that kind of digital rejection well. Eighteen years old Maxwell Warren Making headlines after police say he allegedly retaliated against the Snapchat block. Also, the meeting that kept him behind bars was banned from the campus.

Banned from snap? It is suspected that he got lost
According to police reports obtained by Law and Crime, Maxwell Warren allegedly entered a student’s dorm room on September 26 after realizing he had been banned from Snapchat. The student told officers that when they broke down the open door, Warren forced his way in. In addition, he reportedly grabbed them by the neck, shouted, “You need to put me back in now!“ The alleged attack left visible red marks on the victim’s neck, later documented in photographs.

Just days later, Warren reportedly explained to the reader on Instagram, apologizing and saying, “I feel bad, you deserve better. “ But the peace did not last long – the police say that he continues to communicate with the student through Snapchat and even responded by arguing with him, “I would do it again, I hate it, I would happily enjoy it.“ In late October, Warren reportedly returned to the student’s room again, this time while possibly influencing. When the student rejected his advances, Warren reportedly became angry and was fired a second time. In addition, this second attempt was so violent that the victim said briefly.

That same day, police say Warren was caught on surveillance video in a college parking lot allegedly pinning a woman to the ground — a claim he tried to justify by saying he was going to hit her first, even though the footage reportedly showed otherwise. Warren now faces three counts of domestic assault and one count of burglary. Also, one of those costs of assault involves serious bodily harm. He is currently being held without bond in the Boone County Jail, and his next court date is set for November 10.

The University of Missouri has officially suspended Warren from the college while the investigation continues. University spokesman Christopher Ave told Kmiz that Warren has been banned from all classes and campus activities and warned that he will be arrested if he tries to return. “The University does not tolerate acts of violence,“ The statement read – a sentiment echoed by many readers who say the case serves as a sobering reminder of how social media conflicts can escalate in the real world.
