Dannielle Merifield seems to have some regrets.
In the latest episode of Masiya’s search for a wife, Dannielle was once again faced with the possibility of Quasi’s husband Garrick marrying someone else.
After living soberly for more than a decade, Garrick – who shares sons Jeremiah and Solomon, and daughter Leia, and Dannielle – said he felt inspired by God to live a life of plural marriage.
(Or, you know, he wanted to sleep with more women.)
From there, the couple searched online for several months and met a Brazilian named Roberta … who ended up dumping the document via text message.
Like refdwer: In 2020, the couple legally divorced in Colorado so that Garrick could marry the woman.
During the wife-hunting episode detailing their legal separation, Dannielle grew emotional, waking up to what it meant to give herself permission to sleep.
“This marriage certificate in my file cabinet at home doesn’t mean anything. But Roberta and I have that connection as friends,” he told the cameras, before adding: “It’s hard.”

(TLC)In a surprising moment, Danielle arrived in Colorado Courthoute with garrick and his second wife to be the second wife, Lorrana, who arrived in the United States from Brazil on a 90-day visa.
In an emotional moment, Garrick and Lorrana entered the building as Dannielle was outside waiting and admitted that the situation was challenging for her.
“I’m trying not to get emotional,” he told viewers, adding a marriage certificate and a casual look:
“I know it’s a piece of paper. That’s right. But seeing their piece of paper and knowing what you know isn’t…”
Dannielle then wandered off, before indulging herself in Garrick’s relationship, including when they looked to separate the good.
“Maybe it’s because Garrick and I have gone too far in our marriage and I was considered a real divorcee, that it likes to hit a point in my heart,” said Dannielle.

He should want to get as far away from this cleaner as possible, but we know it’s easy for us to say that he should.
According to the mother of three, part of the process of accepting a new wife in their plural marriage is trusting Lorrana – and trusting that she “won’t do it for me.”
In addition, Dannielle insisted that she seemed to shake off the worry that this new marriage would affect her relationship.
“I know it doesn’t change Garrick’s heart with me or mine,” he continued. “But somehow it makes me feel less, like, tied to Garrick.
“I don’t know why, and I know that’s probably stupid, but it’s just on paper, right?”
