The bill to end the longest shutdown in history is advancing to a House vote

The House will vote on reopening the federal government on Wednesday after the Labor funding bill survived a major hurdle early in the morning.
A bipartisan deal to end the 42-day government shutdown advanced through the House Rules Committee overnight Tuesday, with all Republicans supporting the measure and all Democrats.
Now it’s on to the full section for consideration, which many people familiar with GOP leadership interviews told FOX News Digital believe will pass across the board for Republicans.
Passing the House Rules Committee is a logical step to end the shutdown, now the longest in US history by nearly a week.

The hearing of the panel to develop the bill took more than sixty hours, kicking off on Wednesday evening and ending shortly after 1 am on Thursday.
Democrats have tried to force votes on amendments that deal with ObamaCare’s enhanced funding set to expire at the end of this year and other issues opposed by the GOP, but all have failed.
Minority Leader of the House Hankeem Jeffries, Dn.Ye. It would be surprising to see at the same time, prove to allow his own amendment to extend those sponsors for another three years.
The lengthy hearing saw members on opposing sides of the aisle clash repeatedly, with Democrats repeatedly accusing Americans of taking care of their health and taking “vacations” left in their states during the shutdown.
“I’m sick and tired of hearing you all say we have an eight-week vacation,” House committee chair Virginia Foxx, RN.C., said at the same time. “I worked every day. I don’t know about you. I don’t want to hear another soul say that.”
Democrats and some Republicans are including a provision in the Finance Bill that will allow the GOP government to send the Federal Government $500,000 for obtaining their phone records on the advice of Jack Smith’s.
“I think there will be a lot of people, if they look and understand this, they will see it as hard work, a kind of independence. And I don’t think it is,” rep. Chic Roy, said.
“I’m trying to figure out what we can do to force the Senate’s hand and say, ‘You’re going to pass this provision and fix it,’ without fixing it here.”
This bill will receive a broad house vote,” the procedural test, if passed, allows lawmakers to challenge the law itself.
Lawmakers are expected to hold final votes Wednesday evening on sending the bill to President Donald Trump for his signature.

“We will be opening up our country very quickly,” Trump said when asked if he supported the deal.
The Senate broke weeks of gridlock Monday night to pass the legislation by a 60-40 vote, with eight Democrats joining the GOP to reopen the government.
At the time, travel disruptions were caused by unrest at US airports, with Air Traffic controllers and Transportation managers forced to work without past pay. Many of those workers have been forced to take second jobs to make ends meet, exacerbating labor shortages and flight delays that threatened to over the Thanksgiving holiday.
Millions of Americans who rely on federal food programs have also been left in limbo amid a partisan fight to defund and exploit those programs during the shutdown.
This bill would increase the fiscal year (FY) levels of Federal Funds through Jan. 30 to give negotiators more time to strike a long-term deal through FY 2026.
It will also provide workers with a certain salary at that time, the development of the law to support the Ministry of Agriculture and the management of drugs; Department of Military and Military Affairs; and the legislative branch.

In a win for Democrats, the deal would also roll back federal benefits passed by the Trump administration in October, with workers being paid overtime.
