Hell Nah! A pregnant Chiti woman was sent to an Indiana hospital in labor, and gave birth on the street 8 minutes later

A shocking story out of Crown Point, Indiana, has gone viral online and has been met with anger, outrage about how a pregnant black woman was treated by staff at a shocking hospital.
In accordance with ABC 7 Chicago, 38-year-old Mercedes Wells was forced to leave the Franciscan Health Service hospital after six hours of enduring excruciating pain. When her contractions were only a minute apart, the nurse at the center forced her to leave.
“I was in a lot of pain. You saw me in pain and in pain, and I think you still see me not working,” said Mercedes. “When he comes back to the room he’s like ‘well, if you don’t move forward in your inches then, you know, we have to send you home'”
Just eight minutes later, on the side of the road, the sources and her husband Leon brought their daughter, Alena Wells, without medical equipment, no safety medicine, and security personnel.
As the proud mother of three other children, Mercedes says this program is very disturbing…
“I was deprived of my dignity. As a human being, I was treated as an animal,” said Mercedes.
Sadly, this is very common when black women do not believe doctors and medical practitioners when they complain of pain or try to communicate what they feel in their bodies. In response to this story, social media users recounted a similar incident where Serena Williams revealed her birth. The problems that the tennis goat was experiencing fell on deaf ears and she almost died because the medical staff would not take her complaints seriously.
In accordance with ABC NewsFranciscan Health Crown Point president and CEO Raymond Grady released a statement regarding Harrowing’s experience at his hospital.
“We are very grateful to read from the internet and media reports that both mother and baby are reported to be doing well,” Grady said. “We understand the concern this has raised. The video is just one piece of information that we are reviewing as part of a more thorough investigation into this next incident.”
He added, “While patient privacy laws make it difficult for us to comment in depth, it’s important to note that the videos and narratives lead them to respect our doors, which includes respecting our doors.”
Kicking a woman who is obviously pregnant in pain is very wrong. Sources and her husband say they don’t think so, but they want to meet with management to make sure other women don’t have this happen to them.
