It sounded like a party from a Disney star Debbie Ryan and the drummer for Twenty One Pilots Josh Dunn announced that they were expecting their first child in September. Now, the celebration continues as the couple officially steps into their new role, parenthood!

Dun & Dun Plus One Family Celebration
While Debby kept her pregnancy a secret, she still honored the family during this special time. In early November, the actor shared maternity photos taken by his older brother, and movie photos taken by his wife.
Debby said her brother “she gave me my sister and one of my best friends,” both have a gift for capturing important moments. He stated that watching them become parents “changed” him, adding that their children will be different in age. Debby also wrote about the great honor of her trip:
“…making joshua’s parents grandparents, making his sisters aunts and his brother an uncle, giving my parents a grandchild and my nephew a cousin and returning the favor of Chase and Sarah, these are some of the best things I’ve felt on this trip. don’t get me started on Josh.”
Additionally, the former Disney star said it’s been a long road to get to this moment, with many miles still to go. Debby expressed her gratitude for sharing the journey in both big and small ways. He closed by thanking his family for the warmth, love, and support surrounding him during this chapter.
The celebration did not end there. Later that month, family and friends flew to California for Baby Dun’s baby shower. Photos from the event showed Josh kissing Debby’s bump, loved ones sharing hugs and kisses, and emblazoned throughout reading, “Baby Jebby.” Fans were also surprised to see Debby posing with Jessie costar Karan Brar. The following week, the celebrations continued during Thanksgiving, as loved ones gathered again for another Baby Dun moment, creating adorable onesies, a custom Dun jean jacket, and a quilt filled with heartfelt messages and love.
Debby Ryan and Josh Dun Officially Welcome Baby Girl Felix
On Saturday, Debby Ryan and Josh Dun shocked their fans after officially revealing that they welcomed their baby girl, Felix Winter Dun. The couple shared intimate photos from Debby’s water birth, as well as snapshots of life with their baby, including intimate moments holding baby Felix and sweet snaps of their dog gently licking his tiny feet.
Debby took to Instagram as she reflected on the emotional moments leading up to Felix’s birth and transition to motherhood. He began his remarks by recalling a quiet moment with Josh under the full moon when they said goodbye to life as a family of two. Debby revealed that Felix was born “under the snowy Christmas lights outside our bedroom window,” into his father’s arms, while calling Josh “an amazing partner.”
She went on to write, “I have been strengthened by an amazing birth team, and the strength and wisdom of other women who have supported me on this journey near and far. Her hair is made of silk and her breath smells like vanilla ice cream and all the chirping, crying and crying is music and every time I look away and look back, somehow, she has gotten smaller somehow. I know soon and I will look back and now I will be so big and I will be looking back and now I will be great. I’d spend my days trapped under Felix Winter Dun. I’m many things, a growing light, a portal to the world. Welcome to the world lil moonbeam.”
Josh also shared his message, reflecting on experiencing Felix’s birth firsthand and praising Debby’s strength throughout the experience, calling it “the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen.”
She wrote, “A beautiful baby girl has arrived. She is a sweet baby girl and I love her. Debby labored hard and gave birth in our room under a full moon and snow outside; Felix arrived in my arms. The coolest thing I have ever seen. Debby is unbelievable. I checked and announced to the room that Felix Winter Dun is a girl. I thought the boy had thought all his life, but I thought he was a girl. There is not one thing I would change about him, except in his diaper. He can do whatever he wants in life, but I have extra drums and practice pads ready just in case. I love you Felix.”
