The 30-year-old multi-talented artist opened the 2025 Emirates NBA Cup Championship at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas with a powerful performance of the national anthem before the New York Knicks vs. San Antonio Spurs. The crowd erupted into applause as Queen belted out the song with ease and reminded everyone why her words always resonate. In video clips circulating on the Internet, Knicks and Spurs players appeared sad, some standing in prayer, others holding back tears while he sang. Sharing the milestone on Instagram, Queen reflected on the full-circle experience, writing:
