Xania Monet Applauds Kehlani & Jermaine Dupri in New Song Video
Roomies, who would have thought we’d see an AI beef? However, it looks like someone else might be getting hot as Xania Monet has applauded Kehlani and Jermaine Dupri for a new song. He even dropped the visuals for the record, showing clips of Kehlani talking about himself and social media texts from Jermaine. In the song, he calls Lani, accusing the singer ‘Ogoqiwe’ of throwing shade and hating him during the interview.
“It’s funny how you started in the media, you took my pen as if you knew my worth.” He went on to say, “You say I’m not real, you say I’m not creative. But your voice shakes a little every time you hate.”
He didn’t hold back with Jermaine, he told her that he never talked about her while he was busy trying to dim his light, even though he said he didn’t give birth. “I’m not talking about you, you’ve never had a shadow! But you live in my light, as you did for yourself. You could have reached out, showed love, but you chose your ego instead of me and it’s a sad cause, this industry is cold.”
JD and Kehlani React to Xania’s Digital Shade
JD and Lani really watched Xania’s track and music video. After Shade Room posted clips of his music video, the two jumped into the comments section and shared their reactions. Lani seemed unconcerned about writing, “LMAOO man get the hell on 😂😂😂😂” As for Jermaine, it looks like he didn’t take the digital diss too seriously either. He dropped a bunch of laughing emojis, “🤣🤣🤣🤣”

Right when Telisha Jones, aka Xania Monet, blew up, Kehlani shared her frustration with AI and people using it to make music. On social media, he said he felt bad for people who are trying to create a career in music when computers are taking over.
“Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should. Art is not about getting money. Music means something important to culture, to humanity, to people. I personally will appreciate that for the rest of my life,” Kehlani wrote.
Telisha Jones Explains Why She Decided To Use AI To Make Music
When Xania’s songs started gaining traction, Telisha Jones, the creator, sat down with Gayle King and explained why she chose to use AI in music. He admitted that he can’t sing but said that he sees artificial intelligence as a tool and has been using it to the fullest.
“I wouldn’t call it a shortcut, because I still put in work whenever something new comes out and challenges the norm and what we’re used to. […] you will get a strong reaction behind it. And I feel like AI is the new era we’re in. And I look at it as a tool, as a tool.. use it!” Telisha explained.
