Although the Los Angeles County District Attorney declined to file criminal charges, the LA City Attorney moved forward with six misdemeanor charges against Ray J. These charges include pointing a firearm, use of force, and endangering a child. Fox 11 reports that, as part of recent court proceedings, the judge also ordered the singer to hand over the weapons he currently owns.
Princess Love has been vocal about her reasons for getting the authorities involved, insisting that her children’s safety is her top priority. “I will never do anything that will put them in danger, including leaving them with a man with a gun,” he said in a social media video.
