He is surrounded by four women—who appear to be the families of two men who died in a recent car accident in Nigeria. One woman holds a framed photo of one of the men as they all look at the camera, capturing a mix of strength, grief, and solidarity. In another photo, Anthony sits next to a man wearing a white tank top and gray pants, hugging the champion as he points at him. Anthony keeps it simple, holding up one finger. His note read “My brothers are the keeper” followed by a combat helmet and red heart emoji.
Driver Charged After Crash Expected In Court
The driver of the accident that injured Anthony Joshua and killed two members of his team has been charged with serious crimes, the Nigerian police said. Adenyi Mobalaji Kayode, 46, was driving a Lexus SUV on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway when it crashed into a parked truck. In addition, the accident left Joshua and the driver with minor injuries. Meanwhile, it took the lives of Sina Ghami again Latif Ayodeletwo members of the champ’s training team.
The Ogun State Police Command says Kayode was arraigned at the Sagamu Magistrate’s Court on Friday and charged with reckless driving and causing death. Additional offenses are reported to include driving without a valid license, and driving without due care, resulting in bodily injury and property damage. He was granted bail of five million naira ($3,500) but will remain in custody until he meets the conditions. In addition, his next court date has been postponed to January 20.

What We Know About Critical Risk
In December, a car accident involving Anthony Joshua rocked the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, leaving the boxing star with minor injuries. The Lexus SUV that was carrying Joshua reportedly lost control while traveling at high speed when it overturned. In addition, it collided with a stationary truck, according to Olusegun Ogungbemide, the spokesperson of the Federal Road Safety Corps. Joshua, who was sitting in the back, was taken to the hospital for evaluation and treatment and is in stable condition, while another passenger was also injured.
The Commissioner for Information in Lagos State, Gbenga Omotoso, confirmed that ambulances were sent to the scene, while the president of Nigeria, Bola Tinubu, called Joshua and his mother to express his condolences on the death of his two colleagues and to wish the champion a speedy recovery. Ogun State Police Commissioner Lanre Ogunlowo told AP that Joshua was in an undisclosed hospital receiving treatment. However, no further information has been released about his condition.
