Ford suspended for calling Trump a ‘walking patron’ at Ford plant has ‘no regrets’

O’Leary Ventures chairman Kevin O’Leary says he is ‘confused’ that China is ‘kicking our butt’ in the energy sector on ‘The Evening Edit.’
An auto worker who was suspended for calling President Donald Trump a “child abuser” during the president’s visit to a Ford plant in Michigan on Tuesday, a remark that revealed a middle finger to the CEO, said he has “no regrets.”
TJ Sabula, 40, shouted “protector who abuses children!” at Trump’s when he visited the Ford River Rouge complex in Dearborn.
The president responded by mouthing the words “f— you” twice and giving the middle finger, according to a video of the incident obtained by TMZ, which reported that the exchange was followed by someone insulting the president off camera.

Sabula said later that he was suspended from work pending an internal investigation into the incident, but said he “doesn’t regret it at all.”
“As for calling him, there is no regret,” Sabula told the Washington Post. He estimated he was standing about 60 feet from Trump and said the president could hear him “very, very, very clearly.”
He said that while he is concerned about the future of his career, he believes he was “targeted for political revenge” by “embarrassing Trump in front of his friends.”

“I don’t feel like the future always looks at you, and if it does, you better be ready to take advantage of it,” he said. “Today I think I did that.”
Sabula described himself as a political independent who never voted for Trump but supports other Republicans.
The White House, responding to the change, said Trump had given an “appropriate” response to the autopilot.

“The lunatic was screaming with rage, and the President gave an appropriate and vague response,” White House communications director Steven Cheung said in a statement.
This comes as Trump’s Justice Department continues to be scrutinized by Republicans and Democrats for its delay in releasing documents related to the investigation into the late stalker Jeffrey Epstein. Bipartisan legislation sought full release of documents on Dis. 19, but it is estimated that only about 1% of the files have been made public.
