Chris Brown pays tribute to Janina Garraway, the dancer in the ‘Say goodbye’ music video
On Thursday, October 30, Brown took to his Instagram story to share a photo and message with his more than 144 million followers. In addition, Brown posted a photo of Garraway, captured from the 2005 ‘Say Goodbye’ music video. In addition, he wrote black, “Rest in peace Janina [FOUR THREE RED HEART EMOJIS]! I love you and I’m so grateful to work with you and be with you outside of this family [prayer emoji]. My heart goes out to your child and family! You there and always shine in this world”

Who was Janina Garraway?
According to her official Instagram account, Janina Garraway was a professional dancer and real estate agent.
According to a gofundme campaign linked to her Instagram account, Garraway gave birth to a baby boy in January 2024. However, in March of that year, she was diagnosed with stage four adenocarcinoma. He reportedly began chemotherapy “immediately.” But it could not continue to work. In August 2024, he went on a mission to share with a liver surgeon and had three of the seven tumors removed. Then in October of that year, he reportedly completed 12 rounds of chemotherapy, which left him “shrunken by 50 percent,” and his liver shrunk. In November, he underwent a “long operation” and was given a colostomy bag. However, in February, doctors found two more tumors in his liver.
“I am trying to encourage you not to let the misfortunes of life get you down.
Then in April, it was announced that Garraway’s cancer had returned.
“I have to continue to continue to use Chemo and radiation systematically to fight well … I really hope that I am doing the right things to end this disease and I will be for a long time for my son,” his last message on the platform reads.
