A 21-year-old immigrant from India who crossed the southern border in 2022 and was deported by the Biden administration is now accused of injuring three people in Southern California, multiple Federal law enforcement sources told FOX news.
According to federal sources, the suspect, identified as Jashanpreet Singh, was first encountered by Border Patrol agents in El Centro in March 2022, and was released from custody pending a national hearing.
Singh is now under arrest for allegedly killing a motorist while intoxicated after plowing his big rig into a slow lane on I-10 in San Bernardino County.

The crash, caught on dashcam video, left at least three people dead and many injured.
Police said Singh never hit the brakes before backing into the traffic jam, citing toxicology tests that confirmed the injuries.
DHS sources confirm that he is not in legal immigration status, and that ice has been installed by an immigration agent after filing his arrest.
Singh was released under the not-so-all means of the Biden Administration’s 2022 “Policy for 2022,” one of many cases FOX News has published in which illegal immigrants are being released pending admissions to continue committing crimes.
