R&B Singer Brian McKnight scored a string of hits and a slew of Grammy nominations in the 1990s and early 2000s.

But these days, the troubled star is more known for the dirty details of his life.

And the latest revelation about McKnught’s treatment of his late son could cost him his few remaining fans.

Back in May, Brian’s son Niko died at the age of 32 following a long battle with cancer.

During a recent appearance on the Lamont Hill podcast, another changed son, Brian McKnught Jr., revealed that his father refused to say “I love you” as Niko slept wearing his bed.

“One of the darkest and most painful memories of my life is my day my day [Niko] He calls me crying – with everything he is going through – to look death in the eyes, to tell me that I told him not to call, “Brian Jr., added:

“Because I knew where my father was. I was told [Niko]’My father is gone.’ All my brothers wanted, it was necessary, they asked that my father told us that he loved him.

“My father answered my brother, ‘I can’t decide to say that I love you.’ But this is the man who wanted to help him? ” McKnught added, according to page six.

McKnught gave birth to sons in 2023

In October of 2023, elder McKnught changed his name so that he could become the “elder” in his organization in Israel, Brian Kaiyoa Makoa Jr.

When fans revealed that he had a son named Brian McKnught Jr.

“In order for them to live the life you love, you have to eliminate evil and negativity – even if evil and negativity are related [to you]”He said during a Q & A session on Instagram at the time (on page six).

One fan commented that abandoning her children was going “against God,” which prompted McKnight to leave.

“1. God was not talking about children who are the product of sin, which you wrote about given by 3. Know the whole story before starting to quote,” he wrote.

Needless to say, mcknight won’t be getting any father of the year awards anytime soon.

But knowing how long this situation was with his sons, the revelation about Niko is still shocking.
