“I was going to save what I’m going to say when I’m ready to come back, but right now something tells me to speak. I’m not sad, I’m not depressed, but I need to raise awareness about mental health after some of the response I’ve been seeing.”

Kai acknowledged the overwhelming support he has received but said the negative response shows why many people are silent. She added that sharing her experiences with self-doubt and fear felt necessary, especially given her position and ability to inspire others. Reflecting on his hectic schedule, Kai Cenat revealed that the constant publicity made him lose touch with reality at times.

“I realized that I was losing touch with reality… I wasn’t even spending as much time with close friends and family and hiding as I wanted.”

Kai Cenat Opens Up About Finding & Courage Through Anime

As Kai Cenat continued to tweet, he took supporters and continued his journey. He shared how anime unexpectedly became a source of comfort during a difficult time. Kai explained that he once thought the anime was “weird” and never made the time to watch it. However, he soon realized that it helped him escape reality and connect with personal issues.

“Anime has always been something I wanted to get into, but never had the time. When I finally watched it, it took me to another world I could relate to. In a way, it felt like it was speaking directly to me.”

He shared that ‘Death Note’ was the first anime that helped take his mind off things. Kai said it brought him real joy at the time. He also explained that anime helped him build courage and change his mind. Kai pointed to Naruto as a great source of inspiration. Reflecting on a particular scene, Kai noted how the characters’ problems felt relatable. He added that the anime taught him lessons about friendship, helping others, and staying consistent.

“This incident really got me. Everyone in Naruto goes through something behind closed doors but tries to hide it.”
