Magness began his career at the age of eight by sending a demo to his future agent, Jeff Pringle.
The following year, he collaborated with Bhinte on the heartbroken “Wait and See,” a song that would later appear on the soundtrack of the 2011 film, Judy Moody and the BUMMER ROMMER.
A favorite among his fellow musicians, Magness was tapped to open two directorial tours. He has also performed with artists such as Fifth Unity and Cody Simpson.
“I’m taking a risk, I was an unknown artist. It’s a great feeling to walk around and someone comes up to me and says, ‘Wow, you’ve done well!’ It was really exciting for me when it happened for the first time,” he told Vogue after his first tour as an opening act (with People Magazine).
