Disney removes Dei goals from 2025 Annual Report Business Report

Disney removed the terms “different” and “dei” from its annual business report for the first time in five years on Thursday morning.
In the Company’s Form 2025 filed in the recent Q4 meeting, the words “diversity,” “inclusion,” “dei” or “diversity, equity and zero inclusion. While the word “equity” appeared about 130 times, it was only used in a financial context.
In contrast, the company’s 2024 sec filing includes a section dedicated to diversity, equity and inclusion (dei).

“Our dei goals are to build and support teams that reflect the life experiences of our audience, while leveraging and supporting a diverse array of voices in our creative and production teams,” the 2024 report said.
Efforts under that part of the dei also include initiatives to engage “creative managers from the ground up” and “teams beyond the workforce that represent and support the diverse communities that make up our global workforce.”

Earlier this year, Disney also removed two dei dei programs, “Reimaline tomorrow” and “look at Disney,” from its 1024 k report. The plan “Reimagine tomorrow” is controversial after meeting the 2022 plan this plan held with the Disney executive board finds it “not in the whole Gay agenda.”

Although Disney has moved away from the dei plans, the owners of decorated companies voted to continue the company’s participation in the equality indicators of human rights (HRC) in March.
HRC is described as a “National Assessment Tool for organizational policies, practices, and benefits related to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer employees.” Disney just received a top 100 rating for this year’s index.

Business Insider also reported last month that Disney was involved in a “global week,” which revealed several references to “membership” and “inclusion” without including the word “segregation.”
