Donald Trump believes in speaking ill of the dead.
Less than a day after Hollywood star Rob Reiner and his wife Michelle were found dead in their Los Angeles home… the President has now gone on to denounce the director on two separate occasions.
This, after finding out that Reiner’s son, Nick Reiner, was arrested for allegedly stabbing both of his parents.
“I wasn’t a fan of his at all,” Trump told reporters Monday afternoon. “He was a crazy person, as far as Trump was concerned.”
Almost spectacularly, Trump was then able to bring up the old rhetoric that Russia colluded with Trump to help him win the 2026 general election.
“[He said] that I was a friend of Russia, controlled by Russia. You know, it was a Russian hoax, he was one of the people behind it,” said Commander in Chief of Rob Reiner. He was like a deranged person – Trump Derangement Syndrome.
“So I was not a fan of Rob Reiner at all, in any way, shape or form. I thought he was very bad for our country.”

(Photo Credit: Amy Sussman/Getty Images)The comments came after Trump shocked even some of his supporters with a post on Truth Social on Monday morning in which he appeared to accuse Reiner of instigating the murder himself.

“A very sad thing happened last night in Hollywood,” Trump wrote.
“Rob Reiner, a gifted film director and former comedy star, has died, along with his wife, Michele, because of the anger he caused others through his intense, unreserved, and incurable suffering from the debilitating disease sometimes known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME.
“He was known to have driven people crazy with his love for President Donald J. Trump with his apparent anger reaching a peak as the Trump Administration surpassed all goals and expectations of greatness, and the Golden Age of America is upon us, perhaps like never before.
“May Rob and Michele rest in peace!”

The gruesome discovery led police to respond and determine that the Reiners were “homicide victims,” according to a Los Angeles Police Department statement released on Dec. 15.
“The investigation also revealed that Nick Reiner, the son of Robert and Michele Reiner, 32, is responsible for their deaths,” officials continued in their statement. “He has been charged with murder and is still in custody without bail.”
After the tragedy, Rob’s eldest daughter Tracy Reiner – whom he had while dating his late ex-wife Penny Marshall – said she had seen her father at a family gathering the day before his death.
“I came from the greatest family ever,” he told NBC News. “I don’t know what to say, I’m shocked.”
