Donald Trump Wants CBS To Cancel Stephen Colbert… NOW!

Study Time: 3 minutes
Donald Trump is in a generous mood.
We mean the following:
Donald Trump is in the mood to hit back at a late-night talk show host who dared to say something hurtful about the Commander-in-Chief.
On Tuesday night, after CBS hosted the Kennedy Center Honors event – hosted, naturally, by President Trump – the leader of the liberal world decided to focus on Stephen Colbert.
“Stephen Colbert is a train wreck, lacking the talent or anything else necessary to show business success,” Trump wrote in a post at 12:16 a.m. ET on his Truth Social site.
“Now, after being cut off by CBS, but left out to dry, he’s actually gotten worse, and his ratings are missing. Stephen is running on hate and smoke ~ A dead man walking! CBS should, ‘put him to bed,’ NOW, it’s the humane thing to do!”
Some background may be needed here…

Over time, Colbert has expanded his humor at the expense of the world’s most serious head of state.
On December 23, on the other hand, CBS aired a repeat of The Late Show… the episode that aired on December 8 and featured the athlete taking several shots at Trump – including his takeover of the Kennedy Center and his move to host the Kennedy Center Honors.
“This year’s Kennedy Center Honors ceremony is the first since Trump installed himself as chairman of the board of the Kennedy Center,” Colbert said in one of his letters, encouraging the audience.
In response, Colbert said:
“Yes, I agree. It seems that the commander-in-chief should not have enough time to run a theater. ‘Mr. President, Mr. President, Russia has just launched another round of missiles. But first, dress rehearsals are continuing in ‘Oklahoma, and obstruction is not encouraged.'”

The comedian said Trump’s FIFA Peace Prize “is like Christmas when you ask your mom for a Super Nintendo and she gets you something called ‘Super Retendo.’ Coming out with ‘Super Marion Brothers’ and ‘Legend of Kelvin.’”
Colbert emphasized that FIFA president Gianni Infantino “pulled out all the stops at Trump’s Big Boy Trophy Party,” adding that in a photo of Trump picking up the trophy Infantino awarded him, the president “looks like a goblin asking if it’s okay to eat a third child.”

“Who has the worst Late Night host, CBS, ABC, or NBC??? They all have three things in common: High Salaries, No Talent, REALLY LOW RATINGS!” he wrote.
Trump reiterated his (public and official) call for the US government to revoke the licenses of TV broadcasters.
“If the Network NEWSCASTS, and Late Night Shows, are almost 100% negative toward President Donald J. Trump, MAGA, and the Republican Party, shouldn’t their very important broadcast licenses be revoked?” he continued.
“I say, YES!”
Then, three minutes after that post, the president said, “MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!”
