Dubai schools: All 23 ‘outstanding’ schools revealed

Dubai has confirmed 23 private schools as “outstanding” for the 2023-2024 inspection cycle, the highest rating given by the Information and Human Development Authority (KHDA).
The results show strong performance in the quality of teaching, leadership, student health and overall educational outcomes, giving parents a clear benchmark of the Emirate’s top institutions.
Fees for private schools in Dubai vary according to Curriculum, institutions and year group, with a year’s tuition in elite schools usually from primary to upper secondary levels.
The rating cycle coincides with the continued growth in the education sector in Dubai, with the emergence of private schools and the number of schools that are emerging to meet the needs of Emirati families.
For the 2024-25 academic year, enrollment increased by 6 percent, bringing the total number of students to 387,441 in 227 private schools.
Ten private schools were opened during the period, part of a wider plan to grow under the Emirate’s long-term plan. The student body pursues around 17 different curricula, reflecting Dubai’s ethnic diversity and educational preferences.
