Boy, I’m telling you, the continued self-abuse of white people is getting sad. I have to say More sad. As part of their ongoing effort to adopt a victim mentality, the Trump-appointed head of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is urging white men to report discrimination as a result of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs.

According to AP, on Wednesday evening, the Chairman of the Commission of the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Andrea Lucas wrote in X, “Are you a white man who has experienced discrimination at work because of your race or gender? You may have a claim for reimbursement under federal human rights laws,” in his video. He referred people to a “discriminatory DEI-related” letter posted by the agency and urged affected employees to contact the agency “as soon as possible.”

Black women are disproportionately affected by rising unemployment rates, but this is what the EEOC chooses to focus on. Call me Jaden Smith, as much as I hate you here.

Just hours before Lucas posted, Vice President JD Vance posted an article he said “describes the evils of DEI and its consequences.” Lucas signed the post, writing, “You’re absolutely right @JDVance. And because this widespread, systematic, illegal discrimination hurt white people in particular, the elite didn’t just ignore it; they celebrated it. Totally unacceptable; illegal; immoral.”

White supremacy is weak-ass behavior. What’s it like to race high, but always suffer from races you see as small? Make sense, everyone.

Lucas was named chairman of the EEOC in November, and under his direction, the agency has shifted its focus to “eliminating DEI-motivated racial and illegal sexism.” David Glasgow, executive director of the Meltzer Center for Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at NYU School of Law, told the AP that Lucas’ post revealed “a misunderstanding of what DEI is.”

“It’s very much about building a culture where you get the most out of everyone you bring on board, where everyone gets fairness and equal opportunity, including white men and members of other groups,” added Glasgow. The Meltzer Center tracks cases that may affect DEI programs, and found that while discrimination has been used in a few isolated incidents, there hasn’t been “any kind of systematic evidence that white men are being discriminated against.”

Glasgow pointed out that CEOs of Fortune 500 companies are overwhelmingly white men, and white men still make up the majority of corporate leadership, state and federal legislatures and other prominent sectors. “If the DEI was the engine of white racism, I have to say it wasn’t doing a very good job of achieving that,” Glasgow said.

Jenny Yang, former chair of the EEOC, told the AP that it was “unusual” and “problematic” that the agency is now prioritizing the civil rights of one group. “It suggests some kind of important treatment,” Yang said. “That doesn’t sound like equal opportunity for all.”

He noted how, under Lucas, the agency has completely dismissed workplace discrimination lawsuits filed by transgender employees. “I’m concerned that the message is being sent that the EEOC only cares about some workers and not others,” Yang told the AP.

It is truly disappointing how much progress the Trump administration has been able to reverse in just one year. America has become worse for Black, brown, and LGBTQ citizens, and the white people who voted for this are still broken. Such a victory.
