Geena Davis has been married and divorced more than once due to her popular career.
Some of those unions were more complicated than others. There was a real one debate by how many times you have been legally married.
The highly regarded actress and inspirational activist has loved and lost repeatedly throughout her modeling career.
Here’s a look at his history – and where things stand today.
Geena Davis’ first marriage was to Richard Emmolo
In 1978, Geena Davis had not yet achieved critical fame or name recognition. He was 22 years old.
In December of that year, she started dating Richard Emmolo, a restaurateur.
A month later, almost twenty-three years, he lived with her.
The two got married in March of 1981.
About two years later, in February of 1983, they broke up.
On June 27, 1984, Geena Davis and Richard Emmolo divorced. That’s how his first marriage ended.

A brief relationship with Christopher McDonald (who will continue to appear Thelma & Louise), Geena Davis met fellow actor Jeff Goldblum in 1985.
They first connect to a set of Transylvania 6-5000but this was far from their first memorable interaction.
The two actors played together A fly and to Girls of the World Are Easy.
He and the future Jurassic Park the actor got married on November 1, 1987.
In October 1990, she filed for divorce, and the separation was finalized the following year. However, she has since praised their marriage – especially glad that she and her fellow actress didn’t see each other as rivals.

In September of 1993, Geena Davis married filmmaker Renny Harlin following a five-month relationship.
Harlin ushered him in Cutthroat Island and in one of his most famous films, Long Kiss Goodnight. (It’s not okay to stream and, yes, we checked it as we write this)
Unfortunately, Davis would go on to file for divorce on August 26, 1997. The day before, his assistant had given birth.
The timing of the application was not accidental. The father of the child was Harlin.
Geena Davis officially divorced Renny Harlin in June 1998. It was his third marriage.

The year she broke up with Harlin, Davis began dating Reza Jarrahy, an Iranian-American craniofacial plastic surgeon.
Here’s where this gets tricky. These two it is suspected that married on September 1, 2001. Yes. We’ll get back to that.
In April 2002, they welcomed their first child of three, a daughter named Alizeh.
Then in May 2004, Davis and Jarrahy welcomed fraternal twins, sons Kaiis and Kian.
In 2018, Jarrahy filed for divorce from Davis. He listed the date of their separation as November 15 last year.

In her response, Geena Davis filed a motion in which she said that she and Jarrahy did not have to get a civil divorce, because they were not legally married.

However, in December 2021, the court finalized their divorce anyway.
Interestingly, both sons had their last name changed from “Davis-Jarrahy” to simply “Jarrahy.”
These days, it sounds like Geena Davis is single.
