Gorilas want female adult friends even after years

The relationship that is built between gorillas in the mountainous mountainous mountains are more important than the previously understood, new research from Rwanda.

It shows that when one of these large social structures move on to a new group, it will require and mix with another woman who already knew.

Scientists have supported the study over the 20 years of data that includes many gorillas groups of Volcanoes National Park, Rwanda.

Scientists discovered that even when two women were over, gorilla arrived still trying to join a man who was overlooked.

Findings, published in the Royal Society Journal Prosnings B, Show the relationship between two independent women in the gorilla community.

“Scientifically, I don’t know if I can talk to ‘friendly’,” Victorire Martignac, PhD researcher creates the University of Zurich. “

Walking in different groups is important to shape the animal structure. It is something by men and women sometimes – sometimes females will walk over the rest of their lives.

This dispersion, as it is known, plays a role in avoiding overcrowding, distributing genius and public relations.

Mags Martinac describes: “In the wild it is very important.

“But it is very difficult to study, because when people leave the group, it is difficult to keep track of their trail.”

Working in partnership with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, at the Central Field site since 1967, Martign and colleagues can track what movement.

Pororing for decades of animal life, scientists follow the “dissolving” of 56 mountain gorillas – checking which new party has chosen to join and why.

Gorillas avoided male male groups may be related to them, but the presence of women knew and “fight loudly”, Mrtignagnic explained.

The females are expanded to “friends” even if the animals were many years.

They used to urge the group to the women who had grown up with them, even if that were many years ago. They also looked for people who had done to the public contact – perhaps playing and contacting – recently.

Martignac explained that gorillas would invest in this relationship because they deliver important social benefits.

“New arrival often starts down the social stewardships,” he said. “The women can be aggressive to them, because it can be a tournament.”

Walking is very important to human society. And researchers say that studying its roots in other large ages can shed light on evolution after it.

“The movement is a major part of our lifestyle,” said Martignac. “But those decisions do not make FOSSIZI.

“Therefore we look at our close cousins.”

This new understanding was the social lives of gorillas, adding, “lend us what we think about social and female social associations.”.

“They are very important to these animals than we thought to think.”
