Gunplay’s Ex-Wife Vonshae Breaks Silence on Altered Appearance After Near-Fatal Car Crash (VIDEO)

Vonshae Shares GoFundMe After Serious Car Accident

Two days ago, Vonshae organized a GoFundMe fundraiser with a goal of $40,000. He explained that he was in a near-fatal car accident on November 2, but did not specify whether the year was 2024 or 2025. Taylor-Morales said at the end that he had accumulated “huge medical bills” while unable to work for more than a year and a half. Vonshae also explained that doctors pronounced him dead, but he later recovered in the intensive care unit.

“I was pronounced dead at the scene. Paramedics were able to restore my heartbeat. I had 16 facial fractures, 4 jaw fractures and 2 skull fractures. I had 3 brain surgeries and 2 abdominal surgeries,” said Vonshae’s fundraiser.

And, according to the ‘LHH’ alum, the doctors told his parents to prepare for the funeral. Then one day he started moving. Despite doubting that he would be able to walk, talk or feed himself again, he finally did.

“One of the biggest lessons I learned is that God always has the last word So. He protected me and is now helping to guide me on this long road to recovery,” Vonshae wrote.

‘LHH Miami’ Alum Explains Weight Gain During Recovery

In the video he shared, Vonshae said the driver shot him with a bone on the highway. The impact caused his car to hit a light pole and flip into another highway pole. He also said that he died at the scene and the paramedics had to revive him. Then came more than a year in the ICU. Touching his face, Vonshae said he has become “fat” after suffering multiple fractures to his face, skull and jaw.

“That car accident was horrible. I’m not comfortable driving yet, so I’m a ride princess and I like to ride in a car, like sometimes we hit a bump or a pot hole and I like to freak out.”

More than a year later, Vonshae Taylor-Morales said she was taking 36 pills a day, at least one of which caused weight gain through increased appetite. Lying in bed while eating also contributed to his weight. “I gained a lot of weight. I was 250, I’m 212 now,” Vonshae said, admitting that she likes more weight in areas like her thighs and buttocks. He later said that he also suffered from Lupus since he was a child. Additionally, he said his vision is still “a little distant” after the windshield glass grazed his left eye. UV Says He Will Never Get Back With Gunplay

While fans are cheering for her accident and recovery, some still have questions about her ex-husband, Gunplay. In September 2023, Vonshae told his fans on social media that he had filed for divorce, but the rapper refused to sign the papers. Since their marriage is based in Florida, he said certain laws prevent him from getting a divorce without her consent.

In the previous month, he had been arrested on charges of aggravated battery, false imprisonment, and child abuse without great bodily injury, according to Complex. He allegedly pointed an AK-47 at Vonshae Taylor-Morales and their six-month-old child. She later obtained a restraining order, and as explained, filed for divorce. In his latest video update, Vonshae made it clear that he will not be rekindling his romance with Gunplay.

“I will never and I mean we will never get back together with Gunplay. I don’t care if he paid me…the money he was making. Violating our restraining order over and over again, and the things he said online about me and my family, and the radio tour…and the word on the street is that he was involved in this accident, I will never be.”

Gunplay has not spoken publicly about the accident that nearly killed his estranged wife.
