2 National Guardsmen Talk Fight Against Trump Admin, Say They May Refuse To Be Sent To Chicago

From the beginning of President Donald Trump’s agenda he used national security against the big cities that are running, unlike those who made the great power that, and they expected that those who made their Commanders, and they expected to resist the power that they have. the citizens themselves.
Well, at least two members of the Illinois Guard are doing just that.
According to CBS News, two soldiers, Staff Sgt. Demi Palecek and Tpt Cap. Dylan Blaha said they will refuse to listen to Chicago’s orders as part of Trump’s Fith rackdown, caused by Ice, boarding agencies, or other federal agencies, or other federal agencies running in their communities.
“It’s frustrating to be forced to go along with your community members and your neighbors,” Palecek, a Latina Guardwoman running for a seat in the Illinois Legislature, told CBS. “It sounds illegal. This is not what we signed up to do.”

Blaha, who runs with the Congress in the same district, said there is discomfort among the members of the watchdog who are also worried that the President is using them in ways and they are no longer registered.
“I signed up to protect the American people and protect the Constitution,” Blaha said. “When we have someone in power take away our rights – free speech, due process, freedom of the press – it’s really hard to be a soldier now.”
But, again, it’s not enough to simply say what Trump is doing wrong. The American people — at least those who aren’t just maga bootlickers who wish they could have hard popcorn while watching the military turn those little people — need to hear if they can reject their own people.
From CBS:
Asked if he could turn down a direct order to ship to Chicago, Palecek didn’t hesitate. “Sure. I can definitely say,” she said. “I will not go along with the members of my community, my family and my culture. I believe this is the time to be on the right side of history.”
“Look at 1930s, 1940s Germany,” Blaha said. “There’s a point where you don’t stand up to the Gestapo, are you actively just another one now?”
Meanwhile, according to the Chicago Sun-Times, Victory Without War, a progressive anti-war group, paid Chicago-area boards that directly challenged members to do the right thing.
“National Army. Join to serve your community,” the billboards, which first appeared in Chicago Oct. 14, Read. “So what are you doing in Chicago?”
Billboards also include a website address, not -Ingyyousignedfor-or, that links service members to services such as the Heights Hotline site, their legal options and disposal options. ” The times of the sun realized that victory without war “has placed billboards outside Fort Bragg in North Carolina with its message on billboards in Washington, DC”
“Actually we said, when we see the administration of Trump began to use members of the National Guards and members of the US against it,” he won without the top director of the war, said Sara Haghdoousti, said. “Because the Trump administration obviously isn’t doing it, and obviously, the troops aren’t signing up to fight Trump’s war on American cities. As we saw things go up in Chicago, we really wanted to make sure the message was heard here, too.”
Earlier this month, US District Judge April Perry temporarily blocked the Trump administration from sending the National Guard to Chicago. Last week, Judge Perry delayed the transfer indefinitely, or at least until the US Supreme Court, which the Trump administration requested last Friday, because he knows he has a Republican friend on the Supreme Court.
So, basically, it will come down to the people of Chicago and the willingness of the members of the watchdog to resist the most authoritarian administration in our lifetime.
