Israel said the remains of three people returned by Hamas on Friday did not include any of the dead hostages.
Following a forensic examination, Israeli officials concluded that the remains are not those of the 11 hostages held in Gaza, FOX News has learned.
“The young men we found are not our victims,” said Henjamin Nenjamin Netanyahu, he told the accompanying media following the examination of the remains. However, neither Netanyahu’s office nor any other Israeli authorities confirmed the ownership of the remains to the AP. What was not clear was that these people were not clear and why they were given to Israel.
Since the US fire – to compromise the limit, which began earlier this month, Hamas has returned the remains of 17 hostages. With the one that has already been handed over, there have been cases where Israel said that Hamas returned without including the remaining hostages. The only one that Hamas has recovered is that of Ofiri Tzarfati, whose body was found in 2023.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has been made clear about its role in handing over the ‘bodies’ to the kidnappers. In a statement, the ICRC said it was “not involved in finding the remains.”
“In accordance with international law, it is the duty of the parties to search, collect, and bring back the dead,” the ICRC said.

On Thursday, Israel found the remains of Amiram Baruch and Sahar Baruch, leaving 11 hostages in the Gaza strip, including US citizens Itay Chen and Omer Neutra.
Israel Persinction suggests that Cooper was alive when he was taken from his home in Kibbutz Nir Oz during the Oct. 7, 2023, attack. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said they estimate Cooper was killed in February 2024. He was 84 years old. Cooper is survived by his wife, four children and 11 grandchildren.

Baruki was taken from his home in Kibbutz Beeri during the massacre. The IDF said it estimates he was killed on December 8, 2023, at the age of 25. Baruki leaves behind his parents and two siblings.
In addition to Neutra and Chen, the remaining hostages included meny Goldard, Hadar Goldin, Ran Hamami, Joshua Loitu Mollel, Sudthisak Rinthalak.
