Dubai developer Binghatti announces AED30bn Mercedes-Benz City project

Binghatti Developers and Mercedes-Benz have unveiled plans for what they describe as the world’s first city with the Mercedes-Benz name, a master-planned mega-development in Dubai with an estimated investment of AED30 billion.

The project, named Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City, marks the second named residential collaboration between the Emirati developer and the German car brand, following the launch of Mercedes-Benz Places Dubai. It also represents a major milestone for Binghatti, launching the first master-planned community in the company’s history.

Planned for an area of ​​10 million square meters in the Meydan area, the development is designed as a multi-tower district comprising residential buildings with retail, leisure and community infrastructure. According to the developers, the project aims to combine luxury living with innovation and Mercedes-Benz’s Sensual Purity design philosophy in a compact urban environment.

Mercedes-Benz locations – The city of Binghatti is considered an independent district, defined as a city within a city. The masterplan includes luxury residences near cultural and recreational areas, shopping boulevards, parks and green corridors, walking areas, fine dining and sports facilities, and dining and entertainment venues. The aim is to provide residents with access to daily services and amenities within walking distance, combining luxury living with a high-quality building.

Chairman Muhammad Binghatti said the renewed partnership reflects a shared approach to design and quality. “Partnering again with Mercedes-Benz is a testament to our shared philosophy of beauty, precision, and timeless design,” he said.

“Mercedes-Benz Properties – Binghatti City is considered a world-class destination, a place where luxury and innovation meet to create the perfect city within the city. This magnificent project will be one of the most prominent places in Dubai and a true symbol of high life.”

The agreement was made official during a signing ceremony at the Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, attended by Muhammad Binghatti and Mathias Geisen, Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Marketing and Sales. The official launch of the project is scheduled for 14 January 2026.

Mathias Geisen said the partnership extends the Mercedes-Benz brand beyond automotive products into the built environment. “Creating extraordinary experiences for our customers is at the core of who we are,” he said. “With our next real estate project ‘Mercedes-Benz Places – Binghatti City’ in Dubai we are taking this promise to the next level, creating places where our product becomes something you can truly call home.”

The project adds to the growing trend of branded residences in Dubai, where global luxury names are increasingly partnering with developers to deliver high-end residential concepts tied to established brands.
