Jeremy Runner is firing back after Chinese filmmaker Zho Zhou accused him of posting explicit photos and making threats of deportation – allegations the actor called “absolutely false.”
Zhou, who said he is working with the “Avenger” star on the “Disney Chronicles” book and Project Pictures, took to Instagram this week to say the week of “unsolicited pornography” in June.
He also revealed that when he met her, he “threatened to call / freeze” her.

“These allegations are completely inaccurate and untrue,” Renner’s attorney said in a statement to People.
Renner’s lawyer, Marty singer, denounced Zhou’s allegations as “FALSE, offensive and defamatory” in a statement shared with People on Friday.
The singer claimed that Zhou’s post was in retaliation after the actress “rejected his romantic advances” and refused to promote her projects on social media.

According to the singer, Renner met Zhou in July at a hotel in Reno, Nevada, where he stayed to work on his book. A lawyer said the two shared a “brief meeting of mutual understanding” at that meeting.
He said the two met again in August, but that Renner did not speak to Zhou for more than a month. She revealed that he continued to allow her “sexually suggestive messages expressing his love,” to others as recently as Oct. 24.

“The true facts are that Ms. Zhou has been relentlessly and abusively harassed and pursued my client for months without retaliation on my client’s part, except for July 12, 2025,” the singer said in his statement.
