Former Biden White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has joined the Democratic Party in her new memoir, explaining why she decided to go independent after years as a party member.
In the case, Jean-Pierre has the details of the phone call where President Joe Babiden told the White House team that he was disqualifying them from the race, Newsweek reported.
“Biden seemed to be completely at peace with his decision, but to my surprise, my emotions are at war. I wrote badly and I’m sad,” Jean-Pierre wrote.

However, Jean-Pierre thought that Biden was betrayed.
“The democratic party had defined my life, my work,” Jean-Pierre wrote. “Everything I do to make people’s lives better is connected to it. The team was a vehicle that allowed me to have a front seat to history, working first [Barack] Obama’s presidential campaign then took over his administration, but also made history alone as the first black woman and an openly gay White House press secretary. I never thought of leaving the team until now. “
The former secretary wrote about how he planned to make his first appearance after the bid announcement on “The View,” a libertarian ABC Talk Show.
“Now the cloud of not being comfortable in me is strong in the thought of how I could have done something different. I can change my disappointment with some kind of blind act and I was blamed for the party I would not have deserved,” he continues.
