Klay Thompson Clocks former NBA players for talking about Megan
On Wednesday’s episode of ‘Hoppin ‘n Hollerin,’ Thompson’s Basketball Game this time was on the chopping block. Meanwhile … Tory Lanez loses appeal in Shooting Case
In four other Megan stallion-related stories, Tory Lanez took the court to court this week. A California court on Wednesday rejected Ratadian’s appeal of his guilty verdict on charges of firing a gun at Megan. A three-judge panel from the 2nd District Court of California issued a ruling affirming the 33-year-old’s conviction on three felonies. Tory’s team is still petitioning the California Supreme Court to hear the appeal.
In December 2022, Tory Lanez was convicted of assault with a semiautomatic firearm, possession of a loaded, unregistered firearm in a motor vehicle, and grossly negligent discharge of a firearm. Her case became a cultural phenomenon, raising questions about gender, race, hip-hop, friendship, cyberbullying and violence against black women. Megan He Stallion testified that on July 20 2020, after leaving a party at Hylie Jenner’s Hollywood Hills home, Tory Lanez fired a gun at the back of her feet.
Tory is serving a 10-year sentence at the California Men’s Colony near San Luis Obispo, California. Authorities transferred him there after a fellow inmate stabbed him at the California Correctional Facility in Tehachapi. An Instagram post on Lanez’s account said he was stabbed 14 times and both of his lungs collapsed.
