KO King! Anthony Joshua Breaks Jake Paul’s Jaw Down as Pound for Pound, Heavyweight Haymaker Knocks Paul Out of the Alabaster Pit

If you’ve been waiting for Jake Paul to finally shut up, it’s closed after Anthony “AJ” Joshua dropped him like a bad habit and “broke his jaw twice” to win by knockout. Social media is abuzz with the victory of this infamous instigator finally coming to an end.
The spectacle of the content creator turned sportsman may run into the ring at the Kaseya Center in Miami, but he couldn’t hide from the hands of the two-time heavyweight boxing champion. During the live Netflix show, Joshua politely allowed the jaw-dropping Jake to run wild for the first four rounds, trying to finish off the 6’6″ giant.
Instead of disarming the British bruv, Paul hit the ground running more than singles in the rebel club with frantic attempts to take it down. He obviously didn’t want real smoke, but he ran out of gas after going around the ring a few times. That may have worked with retired stars he’s faced in the past, but AJ reminded the world that he’s still very young.

Instead of dissuading AJ, who won his 25-fight record of 28-4 by knockout, these events seemed to upset him even more. Returning after 15 months, the Olympic gold medalist patiently took the time to get over the sensation on social media that put him in the fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds. Some believe it took too long, but AJ didn’t disappoint in delivering a knuckle sandwich that brought Paul to his knees and sent him to the hospital.
While the former Disney star tried to keep his eye on the prize, his jaw ended up in three pieces and probably in the next zip code.
Although AJ enjoyed a decisive victory over the threat of loud noise, he was a class act regarding his opponent in the post-fight interview. He wouldn’t deny that it was his fight to lose, but he still had (partial) respect for Paul to stand against him in the ring and continue to climb.
“Jake [did] well while it’s going on… I wish I’d taken him out earlier, but as we saw tonight, Jake has spirit. You have a certain heart. He tried his best, and I take my hat off to him because many fights have not entered the ring with me and Jake,” said AJ.
“Secondly, even when he was knocked down, he kept trying to get up, and I took my hat off to him. So, America, I think you have someone who may, if he has your heart, come back again, pour the dirt on his shoulder, come back, and maybe sell this center in 2026,” he continued.
As for the underdog who can’t be bothered, he still had a lot to say on social media. He took to X, who had previously taken to Twitter to confirm that his jaw was broken in two places and then included X-ray evidence, as if the fight footage wasn’t enough proof.
“Double broken jaw. Give me Canelo in 10 days,” Paul wrote.
Well, her face may be cute, but at least her sense of humor is still intact. And part of Paul’s innocence may be his pockets as he is the founder of MVP, the promoter of the event.
Whether viewers love Jake Paul or hate him, this epic fight still makes him the winner of the night (outside the ring). His company, Most Valuable Promotions, “made history as the highest-grossing boxing gate in Kaseya Center history,” according to Variety. Money isn’t everything, but it should ease some of the pain when he sips his NYE champagne toast with a straw.
And for those who accuse Paul of everything from disrespecting the sport of boxing and its legends to cheating on his undefeated record, this beating is a precious Christmas present.
