Almost a year after MissNikkiiBaby accused LiAngelo Ball of abandoning her and their two young children, Gelo recently reflected on his decisions on a new episode of ‘Ball in the Family.’ In February 2025, Nikki revealed that LiAngelo had left her in a text when she was a few months old. He said that the couple allegedly went out of the family photo arrangement and went to him and admitted that he was having an affair with Rashida Nicole. Although she allegedly told Nikki that Rashida was pregnant, Nicole later clarified that she did not get pregnant until later in 2025.
Fast forward to the podcast. Gelo admitted that he regrets leaving Nikki because of disagreements over housing, school arrangements and child care, saying, “If I could do it all over again, I would really make my own**, like I would live there.” He also said that Nikki, whose real name is Nikki Mudarris, “it’s cool” with him and that he confessed these thoughts directly to her.
