Nicki Minaj Jokes About ‘Assassin’ JD Vance While On Stage With …

Study Time: 3 minutes
Over the weekend, Nicki Minaj joined Erika Kirk on stage at an event hosted by Turning Point USA.
Some of Nicki’s fans were surprised to learn that she is a member of the MAGA organization, but she has been hinting at that association on social media for quite some time.
So it wasn’t a complete shock when Nicki praised Trump — but pretty much everyone was shocked when Minaj called JD Vance a “murderer” during an interview with Erika Kirk.
“Dear young men, you have wonderful role models in our beautiful, running president, and you have wonderful role models in the killer, JD Vance, our vice president,” Minaj said at one point.
Kirk, of course, is the widow of Charlie Kirk, who was shot and killed while speaking in Utah in September.
In other words, he probably doesn’t consider “killer” a cool, funny compliment.
Realizing her mistake, Nicki sighed and fell silent, causing Erika to jump up and try to control the discomfort.
“Trust me, there’s nothing new under the sun, so you’re fine… I love you. You really should laugh about it,” Kirk said with a laugh.
“Say what you want to say, because I know your heart and I won’t judge you.”
The crowd seemed unsure of how to react, some laughing at the odd moment and others, it seemed, silent.

“I have a lot of respect and admiration for our president.”
“My love, you did it. We’re good. I love you,” Nicki commented on the clip, seemingly referring to herself.
As many have pointed out, Minaj’s tough time isn’t the only time a celebrity has spoken out at the Turning Point fest.

This comment came after allegations that Erika was torturing her fans to amass fame and fortune after her husband’s death.
These are obviously just flubs, but it’s not hard to see why these two moments quickly went viral.
As for Nicki, it’s certainly not her first problematic comment of the year.
She may have lost her fans after she confirmed her support for Trump, but are the diehards hooked on Nicki after marrying a convicted sex offender and after supporting her brother who was convicted of raping a child?
Those people will probably stay in his corner.
