Saudi Arabia and China scrap diplomas on a new agreement

Saudi Arabia and China have signed a visa waiver agreement covering holders of passports, special and high-class passports between the two countries as part of a broader effort to strengthen bilateral ties.
The agreement was signed during the visit of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to the Kingdom at the invitation of Saudi Foreign Minister Prisal Bin Bin Faisal Bin Faral Bin Fasal Bin Faral Bin Faral Bin Fasal Bin Fasal Bin Fasal Bin Farhan. The move coincides with the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Riyadh and Beijing.
During the talks, the two ministers reviewed the comprehensive strategic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and China and praised the progress made across various fields, including economic cooperation, trade, investment and energy investment. Both sides noted what they described as a growing convergence of views that has brought many benefits over more than three decades of involvement.

Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and Wang Yi also attended the fifth meeting of the Political Committee of the Saudi Chinese Joint Committee. The talks focused on ways to improve interregional cooperation in all fields, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to supporting their other important national interests.

In return, the Chinese side expressed support for efforts to develop and strengthen Saudi-Iranian relations and praised the Kingdom’s role in improving regional and international security and stability.
Chinese authorities also praise the economic reforms and development under Saudi Arabia’s 2030 plan, describing them as a key driver of growth and change. Beijing welcomed the results of the Riyadh Arab Chinese conference on cooperation and development held in December 2022 and confirmed its readiness to participate in EXPO 2030, which will be hosted by the state.
The Saudi side expressed its support for China to host the Second China Arab Conference and the second Chinese conference, a further sign of regional and Arab involvement between China and the Arab world.
These two sides also exchange views on a variety of regional and international issues of shared concern. Both countries confirm their support for efforts aimed at achieving security, stability, development and prosperity, as well as their support for a complete and just solution to the Palestinian problem. This includes the establishment of an independent state of Palestine within the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as the cartur capital, in accordance with the two-state solution, the relevant resolutions of the Nations Peation and the Arab Peaturnes.
The Visa amnesty agreement is expected to serve as a catalyst for serious political engagement and official exchange, reflecting the deepening political and strategic relationship between Saudi Arabia and China as they continue to expand cooperation on regional and global issues.
