Things got even more complicated when the father told the police that he saw his daughter fall from the car while walking on the street. It is reported that Suarez told the police that he did not check what was in the car before pulling it over. Also, Suarez said that he continued to drive because he was afraid that the father might become angry. Surveillance Video Humiliates Suarez As Trial Continues
In court, his attorney said Suarez checked the car three times—but the judge pointed out that video evidence and Suarez’s statements suggested otherwise. Additionally, court records show that prosecutors relied heavily on video footage from the scene, which reportedly contradicted Suarez’s statements and showed him driving away as the child’s father tried to stop the truck. The judge emphasized that Suarez admitted to the police that he failed to look inside the car before pulling it over. Meanwhile, All-Ways Towing declined to comment on the incident when contacted by ABC affiliate WSVN. In addition, the case is still under review as Suarez is still awaiting trial.
