Two girls were injured and hospitalized after they were reportedly thrown from a Ferris wheel at the Louisiana Harvest event.

According to ABC news, the incident happened outside the afternoon on Saturday, November 1, at the Louisiana harvest festival. According to the festival’s official website, the Gathering and Carnival Display is an annual event “dedicated to supporting the local agricultural community.” On the way out, during the event, two little girls, both under the age of 13, were riding the Ferris wheel. There, when they are ‘thrown’ from their knee.
“The Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is actively investigating an incident in which two passengers fell off the Ferris Wheel at the new street harvest event on Saturday,” Houisiana reported.

“Our hearts go out to the families, and our prayers,” the Sheriff said, per ABC News.
According to CBS News, one of the girls sustained broken bones while the other “may have suffered a brain bleed.” In addition, the outlet adds that the fall was 20 meters. Finally, the outlet asserted that the foot rotation shows the third girl hanging in the hole after the couple’s first fall. The third girl is reported to be unharmed.
