‘Love Island USA’ Star Olandria Responds After Being Called Racist on Huda & Louis’ Livestream (Video)

It looks like there is more controversy in the war on the ‘Love Island USA’ site. This time, it comes from a real couple Huda Mustafa and Louis Russell’s Livestream, where Islandel lived Olandria Carthen referred to with a humorous slur. As the clip went viral, many on the Internet have weighed in to share their thoughts.

Wednesday, Oct. 29, the clip of Huda and Louis started making waves in the arena. During their live, the two were taking phone calls when another stranger decided to mention Huda’s Love Island Castmate, Olandria Carthen. The caller said, “Olandria is a ***er.” The couple burst out laughing and were immediately surprised, with HUDA asking what the guy on the phone said a “The Bad Word.”
Huda and Louis later took it upon themselves to deal with this incident. All of them issued statements that made it clear that they did not specify that they do not support race and said that they did not hear Olandria’s name at the time.
Huda said the laughter was not fake, writing that the situation was “crazy” and how she reacted when she heard a “bad voice,” stressing, “I don’t approve of anything of the kind.”
He also added that the caller had repeatedly tried to join their fun and that he hung up immediately after seeing what was said. Louis backed up his statement, saying he didn’t hear Olandria’s name during the prank call. He added that as a black man he has “He knows how to build a whole race [his] Health, “He didn’t want to give another doctor careless satisfaction but he wanted to make it clear that none of them supported racism in any way.

Olandria Carthen took a closer look at the recent Livestream involving HUDA and Louis. In his statement, he made it clear that he “does not allow discrimination of any kind” and emphasized that such language “Never disagree. Not in anger, not as a joke, not.”
Carthen spoke passionately about the deep damage of racial slurs, saying, “Words like these carry generations of pain, and pretend it’s not the only cycle the cycle continues. ” He also asked to answer, to add that “Defending, laughing about it, or making excuses is worse.”
Despite this incident, Olandria said that he will not allow them to disturb him to promote his community. He encouraged those involved and their supporters to take real action by donating to groups like the UNCF college fund, UNICF. He also added that he will make a personal donation and share links to support HBCUS and the educational programs of the black community.

Many social media users gathered in the Shade section of the youth section to react to the viral incident. Many praised Olandria for using her platform to support the black community. Others defended Huda and Louis, suggesting that their reaction was to laugh evilly. However, many agreed that experiencing racial anger is never funny or acceptable.
