Sacramento – Country atty. Gen. Rob Bonta said he expects the Trump Administration, which last week announced plans to use Federal Election Monitors in California, will use special polling reports to challenge the results of the November 4 special election.
BOTA, California’s Top Law Officer, said in a phone call with reporters that it is “100%” concerned about false allegations of wrongdoing at polling places.
Bonta said it would be “nuts” for them to think they would accept the results of the November 4 election given his history of lying about the 2020 election results.
The Attorney General also warned that Trump’s tactics could be an idea of how the country can see it in the 2026 representative elections, when the control of the US Political Agenda – and the fate of the controversial political agenda of the US – will be at stake.
“All the indicators, all the arrows, point to this being something more dangerous in the 2026 midterms and maybe beyond,” Bonta said.
The Department of Justice in the US last week announced that it will send Electcher Counties to the five counties of California where voters are voting in this proposal 10 Election of identification.
Federal Election Monitors will visit sites across California and the Central Valley, Fresno, Fresno, Los Angeles, Justice Assembly, said the Department of Justice last week.

While Federal surveillance is common, especially in federal elections, it has recently been viewed with increased skepticism from both parties. When the Department of Justice under President Biden announced the monitoring of 86 rusticictions in all 27 countries in the last year last November, the countries led by the Republican-Relican began to block the effort.
Democrats are increasingly suspicious of the Trump Administration’s election surveillance tactics, in part because of Trump’s relentless denial of past election losses — including his own crackdown on top officials in his administration, including at the Justice Department.
The California Republican Party asked election monitors and expressed several concerns about voting patterns and problems in several districts, according to a letter sent to the Department of Justice.
Bonta, in his State Monday, asked if the GOP is suing, and denying that there is widespread fraud that would require election monitors. He likens observers to Trump’s decision to send national guardsmen to Democratic-led cities, despite cries from local politicians who say the troops were unnecessary.
More broadly, Bonta told reporters that the Trump administration seems ready to fight Nov. 4 consequences if the proposal passes.
“People voted and you accepted the will of the voters – that’s what democracy is. But that’s not what they saw,” said Bonta, explaining the latest call from the media to Republicans to “wake up.”
Bonta also said that the State will send observers – possibly from his office, the secretary of the State and County Registrars – to observe the royal titles at the polling stations.
Early voting has already begun in California, with voters deciding whether to temporarily redraw the state’s district boundaries. California’s Democratic-led legislature introduced the measure on Nov. 4 Voting in an effort to increase their party’s rates in the US House of Representatives.
Newloom and other supporters of the measure said that they often support independent redistricting processes and will press that Democrats will fight again against their Republican districts to ensure that the GOP maintains control of Congress after the elections of Congress after the elections of Copress after the elections of 2026.
Trump on Sunday urged California voters not to vote or to vote early in California’s primary — the opposite of a message from state GOP leaders, who have expressed concern about the low Curnout.

“Typically, what you do is walk in, sit on the side, away from the voters, and take notes,” said Becker, a former attorney who worked in the division of justice department.
