AWS exit update: What happened today and why

Update Monday, 2:15 PM ET: Amazon said its efforts to fix its communications issues appear to be working. Its widely popular AWS platform experienced issues starting around noon, just a few hours after a major outage during Monday morning.

The company wrote that “to reduce the resolution of launch failures” was progressing and that it was expected that “it is expected that errors and network communication problems will be used to reduce” as it works more widely.
