Emirates and Safran to build an aircraft manufacturing unit in Dubai

Emirates, which has consistently relied on Safran seats to provide the most comfortable seats on its planes, is taking its relationship one step further by signing the French-based company to establish a production assembly and seat facility in Dubai.

The two companies are planning a state-of-the-art production unit with capacity to serve Emirates, as well as other Safran seat customers.
