Emirates, which has consistently relied on Safran seats to provide the most comfortable seats on its planes, is taking its relationship one step further by signing the French-based company to establish a production assembly and seat facility in Dubai.
The two companies are planning a state-of-the-art production unit with capacity to serve Emirates, as well as other Safran seat customers.
The joint Industriction joint venture will initially focus on the business and economic aspects of Cabin Retrofit projects, with plans to expand to fit in the future.

With more than one million seats equipping large aircraft stocks, Safran seats are one of the world’s leading seating options for passengers, crew and helicopters.
The additional capacity will meet the growing demand for the production of aircraft seats and other effects using the latest technology in the field.
