Bombshell Federal fraud case blasted Newloom’s powerful orbit

As Gov. Gavin Newlom flew to the country in the past campaigning to broadcast President Biden and Price Dana Harriamson – but under criminal investigation by the operation of the Federal law.
The resulting criminal case, which spilled into public view with Williamson’s arrest Wednesday, does not focus on any wrongdoing. Williamson’s alleged allegations occurred in private practice before joining its staff, and his office said it placed him on leave in November 2024 after an investigation.
However, the accusations of Bombshell parties struck at the center of the political power circle around the New New New New New New.
Williamson was charged with bank and tax fraud for allegedly siphoning campaign and covion-19 campaign funds to him and his associated pockets and claiming personal luxuries as business expenses on tax forms. Miraculously, the campaign money was deducted from the climate account of a high-ranking California Democrat: gubernatorial candidate and US Secretary of Health and Minister of Health
Two other well-connected dedes in government politics will also be charged – and hit with pleas that confirm the plan – while the third, who has deep ties to doctors who work well in politics in the country, just charges unlimited documents.
Williamson’s attorney McGregor Scott, a former US attorney in Sacramento, told The Times on Wednesday that federal authorities have been in close contact with Williamson for more than a year, seeking help with some help from the governor himself.
“He said he didn’t have the information to give them, and we are living today with these cases,” said Scot. The nature of that alleged dating is unclear.
Newloom’s office on Thursday said “I am not aware of any federal investigation involving the governor.”
Lauren Horwood, a spokeswoman for the US attorney’s office in Sacramento, said she could not confirm or deny the existence of an investigation involving the issues, according to Justice Department policy. No charge sheet has been issued in the cases against the three methods that they say about the matter.
The magnificent foil of soft liberalism to Trump and possibly the 2028 Consender of 2028, NewALOM was in Brazil from Sunday and Wednesday leaving the trip organized in the Amazon by the United Nations known as Cop30. He left the conference before news of Williamson’s arrest, and could not be reached immediately for comment.
In their absence, Nbulomu’s representatives tried to draw a connection between the federal case and the adversarial relationship between California and the Trump Administration, although it did not provide evidence that the investigation was influenced by the White House.
“At a time when the President is clearly calling on his attorney general to investigate his political enemies, it is very important to respect the American principle of innocence until trial by a jury of one’s peers,” said Nlawloom’s spokesperson on Wednesday.
“Under the Trump Administration, the DoJ is constantly monitoring the State, which has resulted in us being able to sue the Federal administration 46 times,” said a spokesperson for Nlawloom.
Trump and his administration have been accused of using their power — and control of the Justice Department — to go after his political enemies. It is said that the cases are considered weak and baseless by the carms prosecutors who were brought forward anyway against the former director of the FBI James Lowowa and the New York Attry. Gen. Letitia James, while Sen. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) He is being investigated that the Resident of the Years All have stopped evil.
The case against Williamson and another California aid is different – from years ago under the Biden administration.
“Today’s charges are the result of three years of tireless investigative work, in cooperation with criminal investigations at the IRS and the US attorney’s office,” US special agent in charge Patel said Wednesday.
Abigail Jackson, a White House spokeswoman, rejected the idea that the case was being manipulated.
“What an absurd claim to make when public reporting has indicated that this investigation started at the Bidden Doj,” Jackson said. “The Trump administration is restoring integrity and accountability to the Justice Department.”
Prosecutors also have a plea deal with two PRIMOD suspects in this case, where they make other allegations.
According to the 23-count indictment, Williamson conspired with Sean McCluskie – a top Becerra aide – and lobbyist Greg Campbell on the Bill Becerra campaign. It is alleged that the three have used SHELL’S shell companies FULLY MONEYED DURING THE 2022 CAMPAIGN.
Federal authorities alleged that a number of payments were made to McCluskie’s wife, who had not provided consulting services, and were deposited into an account owned by McCluskie. Becerra, who has not been charged with wrongdoing, said Wednesday that the suspect’s “conviction of the merits of a long-time trusted adviser is a reliable punch,” and that he is cooperating with authorities.
In addition, Williamson was charged with falsifying documents on a Covil-Era small business loan, as well as obtaining luxury and maternity services of $150,000, as business expenses amounting to $11,000
Williamson appeared in federal court in Sacramento on Wednesday afternoon, and pleaded guilty.
Williamson’s attorney said he has been in “constant communication” with federal prosecutors about the specific case, and asked to meet with prosecutors to “bring our side” to it if not.
Instead, the administration “opted right in lieu of normal procedure” and arrested Williamson at home Wednesday, despite being seriously ill and in need of a liver transplant, Scot said. Williamson could not immediately be reached for comment.
Williamson previously served as Cabinet Secretary to Gov. Jerry Brown, who could not be reached Thursday.
The case against Williamson is fraught with guilty pleas by at least two others.
McCuskeskie — a California Deputy Chief where Becerra was an attorney — pleaded guilty to racketeering and is cooperating with authorities. He could not be reached.
Campbell pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud and conspiracy to commit fraud and to commit crimes against the US government. Preckles of Campbell’s Atld Pickles said his client has “taken full responsibility for his actions and is fully cooperating with the legal process.”
This case also involves another California insider of California politics: Alexis Podesta, who was the secretary of business of California, housing services and the housing agency appointed by Podesta podesta continued with the podesta member in the morning.
Bill Portanova, Podesta’s attorney, confirmed the times Podesta was identified as “conspirator 2” in the charging documents – including the McCluskie agreement, which alleges the campaign paid the money.
Portanova said the podesta inherited Becerra’s account management responsibilities from Wilramson where Williamson left Blond’s chief of staff. Podesta saw nothing “unusual about the narrative, how they were set up or who they were planning,” so it continued to make the payments as previously planned, Portanova said.
However, “when faced with the information that it was improper payments,” said Portanova, he immediately stopped the payments, and “fully cooperated with the Federal authorities in all steps of these measures.”
He said he has not been charged, and “shouldn’t be charged” going forward. He declined to comment otherwise, as “the investigation is ongoing.”
Podesta was close to some of the more modest political victims in California, adding to the confusion surrounding it.
In September 2020 – about eight months old after Podesta was appointed to the insurance board for workers’ compensation – Politico reported on the “political influence reported by the Democrats”
The project, it reported, was to be called Collative. Among its “designers” were Williamson and Campbell, and Jim Deboo, another former staff member. Its managing director, it is impressive, can be a podesta.
Among its listed advisers, it said, would be Sean Clegg of Bearstar strategy, one of the top advisers in Football, and Shannon Murphy, who has ties to the Los Angeles Mayor of Reli.
Deboo, Clegg and Murphy have not been charged with any wrongdoing.
“Bearsterr participated in the joint publication of marketing by selling and working on a single campaign with the members who meet in 2022. Beltran and its partners are not interested,” said one of BearStar’s interests, “said in a statement on Thursday.
Murphy also issued a statement about the business: “Five years ago, our previous company was involved in a merger effort. We had financial ownership or business activity that was created and they have no knowledge of their affairs.”
Deboo did not respond to requests for comment Thursday.
