Sally Kirkland enters Hospice care following a psychiatric diagnosis

We have a sad update to report on the ongoing health battle of the Hollywood actress.

Oscar nominee and Golden Globe Winner Sally Kirklandland entered hospice care after being diagnosed with dementia.

News of Kirkland’s condition comes courtesy of an update on his Gofundme page:

Sally Kirkland’s loved ones deliver a heartbreaking update

“Thank you for all your love and support. Sally thanks for your kindness and love,” the new message reads, adding:

“Sally is on the hunt now and is resting well. Please hold and send Sally’s lamp.”

A gofundme was created in November of 2024 to help Sally deal with the financial hardship caused by a “significant health crisis.”

“That past year he dislocated four bones in his neck, his right wrist, and his left arm,” the message read at the time.

“During my recovery she developed two life-threatening illnesses,” the post continues.

“The combination of this injury and infection requires hospitalization and rehabilitation without 100 days insurance will cover.”

Last month, the promoters posted another update, this time revealing that Kirkland was injured after being badly tortured in the shower.

“Sally sends her love to everyone. It’s been a tough few months for Sally as she continues to fight for her life,” organizers said.

“He had a fall in the shower, when he was left unattended; bruised ribs, foot, and cuts and bruises.

“We continue to try to raise money to cover the gaps between salary and care costs. Thank you for all the love, support, and care for Sally.”

The page has raised more than $58,000 towards its goal of $65,000.

A former member of Andy Warhol’s Fact Circle, Kirkland has appeared in more than 250 feature films and television projects in his 60-year career.

He achieved a new level of fame in 1987, when he received a Golden Globe and an Oscar nomination for an independent film. Ana.

He went on to appear in films like Bruce Almighty and JFK. He has had roles in a wide variety of TV shows, including Charlie’s Angels, Roseanne, Murder, Wrote, Nanny, and Fulfillment.
