Dubai is launching a new digital police platform with seven legal services for lawyers

Dubai has launched a new generation of police digital services with the release of a second-generation legal website and smart application, as well as a dedicated Lawyers Platform that offers seven specialized digital legal services.

The launch is designed to simplify processes, speed up transactions and improve the customer experience for lawyers and legal advisers, while supporting Dubai’s comprehensive digital transformation and zero-bureaucracy agenda.

Dubai Police confirmed that the new Lawyers Platform includes the following seven services:

  • Coordinating the power of attorney to legally represent clients in registered cases
  • Electronic signing of a power of attorney in a secure and authorized digital format
  • Search Certificate of Good Conduct to support the raising of circulars after legal and financial settlement
  • Filing criminal complaints for clients after verifying your identity and contacting the agency
  • Issuance of Whom It May Affect Certificates related to specific cases or proceedings
  • Permits for virtual visits with prisoners or detainees held in Dubai
  • Inquire about circulars and travel bans with direct digital payment and case closure through the service

Major General Dr. Saleh Abdullah Murad, Assistant Chief Executive Officer for Administrative Affairs and Chairman of the Customer Happiness Council at Dubai Police explained that this approach ensures quick and flexible access to security, traffic, community and crime services, supports the strategic goals of the Dubai Police, improves public happiness, strengthens security and builds new and flexible capabilities in line with change.

Commenting on the Lawyers Platform, Major General Murad said the program supports the justice system by enabling our legal partners to successfully complete procedures through secure and integrated digital channels.

He added that the platform is in line with Dubai’s agenda of digital transformation and zero-bureaucracy, providing smart, efficient services based on data science innovation.

He noted that the second-generation website and smart application reflect Dubai Police’s adoption of advanced artificial intelligence technology, not only to speed up processes but also to redesign the customer journey to make it easier, more accurate and more reliable.

AI-powered police officers

Major General Khalid Nasser Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, said that artificial intelligence has become a key pillar in the development of today’s police systems, highlighting the Dubai Police’s approach to transforming data and advanced technology into effective tools for decision-making, service efficiency and system integration.

He explained that the new website and smart application follows the authorized digital identity and offers services in the seven official languages ​​of the United Nations, with the support of more than 268 languages ​​with artificial intelligence systems.

He added that the seven digital legal services were created in accordance with the approved legal frameworks, without interfering with regulatory processes.

Major General Al Razooqi said this program shows how Dubai Police is working to build a digital ecosystem that can continuously learn and improve, improve reliability, accuracy of results and integration with relevant organizations through an integrated digital framework.

He confirmed that the platform supports the zero-bureaucracy strategy by reducing traditional processes, consolidating service channels and providing connected services that save time and effort, adding that innovation remains a strategic tool to strengthen trust, uphold the rule of law and bring more value to society.

Limit personal visits

Brigadier Majed Al Suwaidi, Director of the General Department of Police Stations, said that the Lawyers Platform represents a radical change in the services provided by lawyers and legal consultants.

He explained that it significantly reduces reliance on in-person visits to police stations, improves efficiency and effectiveness and enables lawyers to submit applications and complete procedures electronically, saving time and effort and improving communication with justice partners.

He added that this approach reduces pressure on police stations and allows staff to focus on important security and public functions.

Lawyers can access the platform around the clock through the Dubai Police website to deliver documents and track requests, while police stations can monitor processes and request status in real time.

Hessa Al Balooshi, Director of Intelligent Applications at the General Department of Artificial Intelligence, said the new system provides a unified digital platform for every website and an intelligent application, ensuring a seamless and integrated experience with continuous data flow across all channels.

He explained that users can access services, reports, notifications and request tracking through a single central point, supported by smart service accelerators that analyze user behavior and language patterns to deliver more personalized and efficient services.

With the Service Portal and Customer 360 Profile, users can access a customized dashboard that displays all requests, complaints, reports and suggestions, with integrated notifications and alerts that improve visibility and accountability.

The platform also introduces dedicated Lawyers’ Workspaces, enabling lawyers to manage cases, powers of attorney and client applications digitally and securely using digital identities, without visiting police stations.

An integrated application and case management system allows tracking applications, circulars and travel bans, supported by clear schedules and continuous updates via email, SMS and platform notifications.

The system also includes Smart Advisor Dubai Police AIX, an interactive digital guide that provides guidance on services, reports and inquiries beyond traditional chat systems.
